Are you ready to study at Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) as an Erasmus+ exchange student? You can join us during the Fall Semester, Spring Semester, or even the Full Academic Year. Here’s what you need to know to start your journey:
Am I Eligible?
To join CUT as an Erasmus+ exchange student:
- Your Home University and CUT must have a valid Erasmus+ Bilateral Agreement in your subject area. Unfortunately, mobility is not possible without a signed agreement.
- Your Home Erasmus Coordinator must nominate you, providing us with the following information:
- Your Full Name and Email Address
- Your Date of Birth and Gender
- Your Period of Stay (Fall Semester, Spring Semester, or Full Academic Year)
- Your Department (ISCED Subject Area Code) and Level of Studies (Undergraduate, Master’s, or PhD)
What Happens After I’m Nominated?
Once we receive your nomination:
- We’ll send you detailed instructions on how to complete your application and upload your documents on the CUT Portal and on completing their Online Learning Agreement (OLA).
- Your application documents must include language certifications, transcripts, and your OLA.
- You’ll receive your Acceptance Letter after we’ve reviewed and approved your application.
If there’s an issue with your nomination or application, don’t worry—our Erasmus Office will contact you directly to resolve it.
Nomination Deadlines
Your Home University must nominate you by:
- 30th June for the Fall Semester or Full Academic Year.
- 15th November for the Spring Semester.
Building Your Study Plan at CUT
At CUT, you’ll have access to our Course Catalogue, which features a selection of English-taught courses specifically for Erasmus+ students. You can choose courses from any discipline to complete your Online Learning Agreement (OLA), regardless of your field of study.
- Mandatory Course: The LCE 660 Greek Language and Culture Course (4 ECTS) is required for all incoming students and is designed to help you immerse yourself in Cypriot culture.
- Language Courses: You can also take additional courses in languages like French, German, Spanish, Italian, or Russian through our Language Centre.
- Can’t Find a Course? If you don’t see what you need in the Course Catalogue, you can explore the relevant department’s website and request English-taught options for individual or group study.
Next Steps
Once you’ve been nominated and your application is accepted, you’ll join a vibrant community at CUT. Our Erasmus Office is here to guide you through the process and ensure your mobility experience is seamless.
