The European University of Technology (EUt+) is a strategic alliance of nine leading technological universities across Europe, collectively educating approximately 110,000 students. This collaboration aims to create a unified European university that leverages the strengths of each partner institution to advance technological education and research.
Established in 2020 under the Erasmus+ initiative, EUt+ seeks to develop an integrated model of technological education and research that encompasses engineering, sciences, humanities, and social sciences. The alliance emphasizes inclusivity, aiming to provide top-quality education to diverse groups and empower students to become technologically literate professionals and responsible European citizens. This initiative fosters a European network of peers, intellectual and cultural curiosity, open-mindedness, and civic values. In July 2023, the European Commission announced €14.4 million in funding for the second phase of the EUt+ initiative, supporting its ambitious plan to create a unified European university.
